I joined Canopy Mortgage in 2019 specifically because of its clear, upfront pricing model so clients can understand the numbers and feel good about the loan they choose.

I work with buyers and homeowners throughout Utah, California, Arizona, and Illinois, helping first-time buyers, veterans, self-employed borrowers, and move-up buyers navigate the mortgage process with confidence. I specialize in first-time homebuyers, VA and FHA loans, and complex income scenarios, particularly self-employed borrowers and those with unconventional income. I review income the way an underwriter does, which allows me to structure approvals that other lenders often cannot.

Many of my clients come to me after another lender said no. My role is to find a clear, approvable path forward and remove uncertainty from the process. Every loan is reviewed upfront for income, assets, and program guidelines so there are no surprises once you are under contract.

We underwrite the loan during the pre-approval process, which allows us to close quickly and regularly write 15-day contracts to help buyers get their offers accepted. I work closely with real estate agents to support clean approvals, strong offers, and on-time closings.

Throughout the transaction, I proactively communicate so you always know where we are in the process, what we are waiting for, how long each step typically takes, and what the next step will be. With experience across multiple market cycles, my focus is always on building a loan plan that is realistic, well-structured, and designed to close.
